Tea anyone???

It has been quite sometime that I have been trying to kick my tea drinking habit. It is tough though especially when it's now an integral part of my system. My day starts with tea and ends with one. There is no element of addiction so much so that I cannot go through the day without taking a sip, however, I need tea. Now what can one deduce from this sentence??
Coming from the Himalayan foothills where there are lovely tea gardens all over the hills, it is no wonder that we people have this specific love.
Now there are different types of tea. The one that am talking about here is the black tea+milk+sugar/salt. No, I do not make a mistake by writing salt. I remember this funny incident when we were on a Goa tour. My friend got pretty sick and the landlady lovingly asked us if we needed anything at that very moment. My sick friend said she wanted tea...salt added!!! The poor confused lady brought plain tea, with milk and all and a salt container and she stayed the entire time staring at my friend while she sipped the tea. Till that instant, I never knew that people at other parts of the world never take salt with tea.
Recently, while browsing through a store in the city, the tea varieties there astounded me. To be exact, maybe those do not even represent a fraction of the varieties present all over the world..which means I still have a lot of exploring to do with regards to tea...which means am a tyro!!!
